KORT [Kurt Wagner and Cortney Tidwell] are releasing a record by the name of Invariable Heartache on Oct. 18. It was recorded here in Nashville by a collection of brilliant Nashvillian players. The crazy part? It’s not being released here. These two are beloved in Europe, but toil in comparative obscurity here in the States; though Lambchop is on Merge and both ’Chop and Tidwell are on City Slang abroad, there are no plans for release stateside.
